Approaching character study .There are multiple ways to approach character study, outside in, inside out, method, Meisner, Grotowski, just to name a few. Each way is in itself an entire lifetime of study and we cannot dive deeply in to all of these in one short workshop.

Movement for the Actor
Why does an actor need to know about movement?  This workshop will show alternative ways to move on stage, define upstage, downstage, proper on stage etiquette for fellow actors, how to move and open to the audience, how to glide, clomp, walk, or skip, depending on the characters needs across the stage.

This proposal is to begin the lifelong training of new to theatre actors/actresses who wish to improve their vocal skills. Deepen their understanding of their vocal instrument, how to exercise that instrument, protect the instrument, and change that instrument for characters or regional changes.
